Many of you have been asking what I will be doing now that my work on American Eagles
is almost done. The answer is simple: I am going to write a book on the American Expeditionary Forces in France and elsewhere during World War I. The story of the Doughboys has been covered many times, but my plan is to write a book similar to American Eagles. So it will be a great read, but it will also be incredibly well researched, scholarly, and packed with illustrations. This American Expeditionary Forces book will focus on previously unpublished stories, unpublished photos, create new maps and use fresh research heavily done from source materials and visits to the battlefield. Of course, I'll also cover familiar names such as John J. Pershing, Alvin C. York, George Patton, Douglas MacArthur and more. It will cover the battles of 1918 such as Chateau-Theirry, Belleau Wood, St. Mihiel and the Meuse-Argonne.
So if you have any such materials you would like to share or maybe you just have questions, then please contact me here: E-Mail - American Expeditionary Forces and I will get back to you. Thank you, Narayan Sengupta.
