Calvary Children’s Home – Financial Support

2/2016 - A recent Smyrna Rotary project will benefit the children of Calvary Children’s Home in Powder Springs. During this past Christmas season, Smyrna Rotary raised over $800 to provide the children with a meal at a local restaurant. Given that many of these children have never been to a restaurant, Calvary’s director Snyder Turner says the meal will be an opportunity to teach the children restaurant and table manners, as well as the experience of dining out as a family. Calvary Children’s Home serves as home to 85 children.

The Club also contributed another $5,000 to Calvary Children’s home for general use.

Smyrna Rotary is always looking for the community's business and service leaders. For more information about the club or membership, please email f12@nfiweb.com.
