Smyrna Rotary Club Welcomes New Leadership 2018-2019!

Smyrna Rotary Club's new President is Brenda Romanchik. She is a Therapist, Adjunct Professor and Consultant and a member of organizations such as the National Association of Social Workers, the Academy of Certified Social Workers and the Georgia Association of Clinical Social Workers. We are delighted to have her lead our club. President Elect is Raymond Coffman. Brenda and her new board were sworn in by Past District Governor Roy Strickland.

Smyrna Rotary Club Welcomes New Leadership 2017-2018!

Smyrna Rotary Club has several interesting local, national and international underway as it has every year. Recent awards include a Rotary Governor’s Citation. The Club changes leadership annually at the end of June. On June 27, Club President Don Parkerson honored Raymond Coffman as Rotarian of the Year for his service work combatting polio in India. Said Coffman:

“Service to my community and an opportunity to touch lives around the globe are what makes being a Rotarian so meaningful. We all seek meaning and purpose in our lives; Smyrna Rotary allows me to participate to enrich the lives of others. I am honored to be selected as Rotarian of the Year, but every Rotarian helps make our world better in so many ways.”

Parkerson also transitioned to new Club President Sean Tintle and his board. Smyrna Rotary Club has decades of service projects – local, national and international – to its credit. In order to stay vibrant and maintain high levels of new ideas and new energy, the Club changes leadership annually.

Recently, Rotary District Governor Bob Hagan was on hand to praise the outbound leadership of Club President Narayan Sengupta and his board and to swear in the new 2016-2017 Club President Don Parkerson, Jr. and his board.
